Jim Ryan joined the family firm in 1974. Jim graduated from Kansas State University in 1970 and was immediately employed by The Federal Intermediate Credit Bank of Wichita. Since 1974, Jim has devoted his full time service to residential and farm real estate in the Manhattan area. He has served on the Manhattan Board of Realtors and has held numerous committee positions with the local board. Jim is also a member of the Kansas Association of Realtors, National Association of Realtors, and hold the Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) designation and is currently a member of Rotary International. He strives to provide excellent service. He is proud father of three children, all graduates of Kansas State University, and a proud grandfather of four. Jim has a daughter that teaches in the Manhattan school district and a daughter engaged with the local medical community. Jim’s son is pursuing a career in Kansas City. |

Jack Ryan received his Bachelor of Fine Arts from Kansas State University in 1974. He has been a member of the firm since 1974, celebrating over 32 years of real estate. He is a broker who is a member of the Kansas Association of Realtors, National Association of Realtors, and holds the designation of Certified Residential Specialist (CRS). Jack has two sons who are graduates of Kansas State University and a wife who teaches in the Manhattan public school system. Jack has past involvement with numerous community boards, to include Manhattan Arts Council, McCain Development Board, the Beach Museum of Arts Board, and Historic District Review Board. Jack is involved with the Manhattan Chamber of Commerce Military Committee and a member of Association of United States Army (AUSA). Jack is an active member of Rotary International and presently serves on the Kansas State University Cancer Research Board with the Division of Biology. Jack knows Manhattan and its people well.

Delores Grater joined Ryan & Sons Realtors, LLC in 1996 and specializes in residential properties and agricultural land. She is especially familiar with the rural areas and small towns. A native of the Manhattan area, she started her own business at the age of 18 and has been involved in business activities ever since. Delores is a member of the National Association of Realtors, Kansas Association of Realtors, and has earned her Graduate of Realtors Institute (GRI) designation.

Jerry Vestweber graduated from the University of Minnesota in 1964 with a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree. After spending two years as a Captain in the U.S. Army, he spent the next 37 years as a professor of Clinical Sciences at Kansas State University. After retiring from Kansas State University in 2004, he worked on a part-time basis at the Department of Clinical Sciences, and more recently as a realtor for Ryan & Sons Realtors, LLC. Jerry has had experience in the farm, rental, and residential real estate. His wife Mary is retired from Campbell’s Gift Store in Manhattan.

Laurie Pieper joined Ryan and Sons in 2007. Laurie is originally from New York state and graduated from Clark University in Massachusetts. Laurie has a Ph.D. in Philosophy from UCLA. She taught at the University of Oregon before coming to Manhattan to join the Philosophy Department at Kansas State University. In 1996, Laurie opened The Morning Star Bed and Breakfast, which she still operates. Laurie has been active in the Manhattan Arts Center, was a Riley County Master Gardener for a number of years, has taught Tai Chi classes at a local fitness center, and has written food articles for The Manhattan Mercury. She is also a watercolorist who exhibits locally. Laurie is a member of the National Association of Realtors and the Kansas Association of Realtors.

Rachel LaBrie has recently joined Ryan & Sons Realtors, LLC as a real estate professional. Rachel was formerly with First Management, Inc. as Senior Area Manager. She was involved with the management of over 550 apartment and town home units. Rachel has received national recognition in her management of real estate over the past two years. Rachel also has been involved with the Office of Military Housing Affairs for over two years. Before going into property management she was a Customer Service Representative and Consumer Lender at Sunflower Bank. She has over six years in the banking industry and close to three years experience in property management. Rachel has been a part of the Manhattan community for almost 6 years. The Ryan’s are honored to have Rachel join the firm.
Rachel is originally from North Dakota. She was actively involved in Campus Crusade for Christ at the University of North Dakota. Rachel studied abroad at the University of Paris in 1999 from June to August, with an emphasis in the study of French, world religions, and other cultures. She is a 2007 graduate of Manhattan Christian College, with her Bachelor’s Degree in Management & Ethics.
